Through long-term relationships, Crimson has successfully leased 82,000+ acres in a very prolific oil and gas play in Dimmit and LaSalle County, Texas. The Olmos and San Miguel formations in this area have provided tremendous growth opportunities for Crimson. The impressive average reserves and reasonable drilling costs yield a highly attractive return on investment. The principals of Crimson have been active in this area since 1995 and utilize the latest in logging and frac technology to maximize results. Crimson has drilled 45+ wells in the Olmos and San Miguel formations since early 2006. Crimson currently has over 500 drilling locations in the South Texas area with an additional 800 potential locations. The geology consists of a multi-pay, channel environment over a large geographic area. Crimson is currently evaluating the use of 3-D seismic in this core area. Crimson also holds an acreage position and is the operator of wells in the Pearsall Field located in Dimmit, Zavala, and Frio County, Texas.
